The High Plains Drifters Soccer Club was originally started in 1992 as an All-Star program. The founders of the All-Star program felt that a club environment was necessary for those dedicated players who desired a constant, highly competitive atmosphere. The All-Star program became an official soccer club in 1994 with the solid foundation which allows the Club to hold the title of the largest, most successful soccer club in the area. he mission for the High Plains Drifters Soccer club is to provide a positive competitive soccer atmosphere in the Amarillo area that allows local players not only to develop their athletic skills, but to also develop into outstanding citizens in our communities.
