The extended day program serves Chaires families by providing a supervised educational and recreational program during the summer, before school, after school, and on teacher planning days. Extended day will officially operate before school from 7:00 am-8:25 am and after school from 2:50 pm-6:00 pm on school days. Extended Day is a program that generates 100% of the funds it expends. This program is an integral part of serving students in an educational manner, and is included in the school improvement planning process. All students enrolled in the program should report to the cafeteria upon dismissal.
