The Mary’s Center After School Program or “Teen Program” provides a safe place for young people aged 13 to 21 to realize their potential by setting goals and receiving the support and resources necessary to succeed. Based at Mary’s Center’s Petworth location (Washington DC), our comprehensive services include medical, educational, and social service support. Our participants represent many cultures, with families from Central & South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The goals of the Teen Program are to help teens to: · Succeed in school and thrive in the community · Maintain good health and make wise lifestyle choices · Prepare for college, technical school or workforce experiences.
