The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix enables all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Spencer D. & Mary Jane Stewart branch was built in 1986 on land donated by the John F. Long Foundation. In 2006 and 2007 the Club underwent a major restoration, updating many of the building’s amenities, including providing a new floor and scoreboard for the gym. The Club partners with local public schools, Maryvale YMCA, and Maryvale Police to offer fun and educational programs to youth and teens.
