At CCUV, we believe that all children learn and develop through an active involvement with their environment. Through this process children construct a knowledge of the world in terms they can understand. The child’s development of knowledge of the social world and strategies for interacting with peers and adults is an important part of learning during the early childhood years. The activities that we plan are designed to be appropriate to the developmental capabilities of each child, and are implemented with attention to the children’s differing needs, interests and developmental levels. We also value the rich cultural and ethnic diversity that individual families bring to our center. We love children here at the Children’s Center.
