Mission Statement
To provide and advocate for quality, program based early care and education, delivered to children in an environment that is supportive of children and families. Specifically we,
Advocate for the rights of children and their families
Teach respect for oneself, for others, and for the environment striving to overcome the effects of discrimination and bias
Recognize and support the needs of our families, supporting them as they address challenges
Provide programs that integrate children of all backgrounds (with special sensitivity to at-risk children) into a cooperative community And in keeping with over a century as a Girls Club, we have an ongoing commitment to girls' programming. Our developmental philosophy stresses ideas of non-violence, cooperation, and verbal problem solving. Throughout their time in our program, children acquire responsible and caring attitudes toward themselves, each other and the community.
