Yonkers Boost After School Program intends to provide children greater access to the arts, cultural studies, and physical movement.

This program is needed because arts, music, physical movement, and language studies are increasingly unavailable to children as a result of systematic budget cuts to our public education system.

Children attending Yonkers Boost After School will get the opportunity to work with many qualified specialists including local artists and qualified teachers whose employment opportunities have also been curtailed.

The participating children, their families, and local artists and teachers, will directly benefit from the program. The wider community will also benefit from the cultural impact of the program.
