Fort Worth After School is a program designed to provide a safe environment that results in education, physical and social development for students K-12. FWAS is a collaboration of Fort Worth ISD and the City of Fort Worth. Funding is also provided through the TEA 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant.
My goal, along with your help, is to provide the students of TTHS a program that will aid in increasing academic achievement and success, enrichment, college and workforce readiness, as well as family and community connections. This will be done by providing a number of activities before and after school. If you know of or have any suggestions on how the FWAS program can aid in this any further, please let me know.
