Lake Nixon is a 240-acre recreational facility with a 35-acre lake. The area offers wonderful opportunities for families to experience the natural beauty God has given us. There are opportunities to swim, ride a paddleboat, fish, enjoy a vigorous hike up a hillside or just have a relaxing picnic in the shade of a pine tree. Second Baptist Church in downtown Little Rock owns this facility and uses it for evening worship, festivals and even an old fashioned chili cook-off.
