Welcome to Oakwood Middle School where we provide an unsurpassed education to the seventh and eighth grade students of the Plain Local School District. Oakwood Middle School is a college and career readiness middle school. Students explore their career choices through an inventory survey tool when they take the ACT Explore Test. Each of our students create a career exploration plan and post this on their online student portfolio. We continue to explore the college world through field trips to Malone, Kent State and Stark State.
The personalization of each students schedule allows for our children to dream big. In addition to advance level coursework in Language Arts and Math, our students have many choices through out the day including:
