The Amsterdam Family YMCA provides year round full-time and part-time care for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years. Our Early Childhood Center is licensed and regulated by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. This means we adhere to all current state mandated rules and regulations. Our hours of operation are 6:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday.

Our program provides quality care in a safe and supportive environment, which fosters the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth of children, while supporting and strengthening families. Our program is committed to demonstrating the character development models of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. We offer free access to live streaming video webcam so you can observe your child while in our care and stay connected with your family.
