Franklin is one of three elementary schools in the Pullman School District.Within our335 student body, over 20 countries are represented, 12 different languages are spoken, and 36% of our students are part of a national culture or ethnic minority. We celebrate learning! At Franklin, we value learning and find creative ways to build traditions & celebrations around our curricular areas. At different points during the year, you might observe traditions such as the Turkey Trot, Math Madness, Author's Day & 1st Grade Author's Chair/ Reader's Theatre, Science Week, and Pig-Out On Books. Franklin is a school-wide Title-I school. This allows us to assist students in many different ways. We are very proud that we provide small group reading instruction to all students, extended day opportunities for math, and a summer learning "bridge" program. We also pride ourselves on building strong partnerships with parents.
