Y’s Kids Before & After School and Y’s Kids Day Camp programs with the Skagit Valley Family YMCA is a great option for your family.Y’s Kids Before and After School programs focus on character development, using the four core values of the Y: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. More than 900 of your neighbors across Skagit County trust the Y with their children because we are the nation’s leading nonprofit organization committed to Youth Development. We offer convenient locations with sites on schools campuses in Anacortes, Burlington-Edison, Conway, La Conner, Mount Vernon and Sedro-Woolley. Y's Kids Before & After School program provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where kids feel understood. We work hard to provide a place where children receive structured, well-rounded programming, which includes homework support, physical activity, healthy snacks and creative projects. We also implement the CATCH curriculum; CATCH is a national program that focuses on physical education and healthy nutritional habits.
Y's Kids Before School care opens at 6:30 AM and goes until school starts. After School care opens when school dismisses and closes at 6:00 PM. Both programs are open on school days, Monday through Friday. On many non-school days, winter break, and spring break we also offer additional care with our Y's Kids Camp Days program.
