Beechwood Elementary School incorporates K-6th grades, including non-graded primary and intermediate classes. The academic day contains instruction in art, vocal and instrumental music, and physical education. Resource teachers are available for speech/language instruction, remedial reading instruction, and the gifted and talented program. Extra-curricular activities include Odyssey of the Mind and the Academic Team. A computerized library/media center and a fully functional science laboratory are also provided for elementary school students.
