The Camp Pendleton Headstart program supports parents in their role as the primary caregiver and teacher of their children. As such, they have the responsibility and are encouraged to participate in center activities and at the governance level at the Policy Council. They are to enroll in a variety of training programs for parent development and career opportunities.
