Truman Elementary is one of 24 elementary schools in the Cedar Rapids Community School District. It is located in a northwest residential area called Cedar Hills. Truman first opened its doors to students in 1961. It currently has two sections each of kindergarten through fifth grade. Truman also has four sections of Special Education. Truman presently serves 350 students.
