The Variety Club of Iowa and City of Des Moines John R. Grubb Community YMCA, established in 1994, provides many traditional YMCA programs as well as unique programs designed to meet the needs of the local community. The facilities include three school classrooms, a youth center, indoor pool, fitness center, gymnasium, indoor track, and outdoor athletic fields. Child Watch is available for children while their parents participate in programs.
