Family Focus school aged programs are committed to providing care that allows children to participate in self-directed activities, led by qualified adults, before and after a more structured school day. The pace of the programs reflect the needs of the young people participating. Family Focus follows national accredited standards in after school programming that leads to stimulating, safe, and supportive programs for young people ages 5 to 12 during out-of-school time. Our Programs are licensed by the State of Maine, serve a healthy morning and afternoon snack and operate in alignment with the school calendar including extended hours for half and full day workshop days. School Age Programs work as respectful partners with families and schools. Staff share their insights, their questions, and their knowledge of community resources to best support children and families. Optional care is available for February and April vacation weeks and Summer Care if enough families wish to participate. Care is also available on half-day and full-day teacher workshop closings. The Family Focus School Age Programs are offered in collaboration with MSAD 75, the Brunswick School Department who offer us the use of space for the children.
