Bayou Karate is a family owned and operated martial art school; we are not a franchise. Our program is tried and true after decades of refinement, of the highest quality, and is designed to work for all people from 4 years old and up. Nothing is given freely in our program. Belts are awarded based on merit and ability, and not simply on time spent in the dojo. However, Sensei Christopher Bertucci and his assistants are wholly dedicated to ensuring that all our students receive the attention necessary to be able to meet our high standards.
