Evans Martial Arts was founded by Professor Felipe "Pega" DePaula and opened it's doors January 2012.
Professor DePaula was born in Brazil where he started his martial arts education.
He earned his Brazilian Jiu jitsu Black Belt under Professor Joshua Miller, at Gracie Barra, Augusta, GA.
Felipe teaches the traditional BJJ, gi and no gi, and brings to the mat years of competitive training experience.
His passion for improving physical fitness, mental discipline, and spiritual strength, is apparent in each class he teaches.
Felipe DePaula has been a positive influence in the lives of many.
He brings for the CSRA a unique BJJ Program, the only Brazilian Black Belt in this area.
Also Referee Certfited by the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation.
