Hwang’s Martial Arts has a family tradition of teaching martial arts in the U.S. since 1960. In our martial arts classes both children and adults learn Tae Kwon Do, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, and Krav Maga assuring the student of learning realistic self-defense standing up or while on the ground. The martial artist, whether a young person or adult, will develop him or herself both physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as the practice of the martial arts becomes a way of life. Learning respect for others along with strengthening one’s own self-confidence, self-discipline, self-control, integrity, health, fitness, selflessness, perseverance along with self-defense are key aspects in a true martial arts school.

Separate classes are also offered in Krav Maga, the self-defense system used by the Israeli National Defense Forces. These classes are fast paced and intense with a focus on learning effective, realistic self-defense in the shortest amount of time possible. This non-traditional class is for adults and persons ages 15 and older only.

Private lessons are available for those who want more specialized instruction or need to arrange training at a time that’s more conducive to his or her lifestyle.
