Florida Hwa Rang Do was founded in 2001 by Grand Master Ki Tae Yum. Master Yum is an eighth degree black belt with over 45 years of competitive and training experience. His passion for improving physical fitness, mental discipline, and spiritual strength is apparent in every class he teaches. Master Yum has been a positive influence in the lives of many. His ability to reach children and adults alike has earned Yum's Hwa Rang Do a reputation as one of Sarasota's best martial arts studio. Master Yum has been involved with martial arts his entire life. As a child, he was taught the fundamentals of Hwa Rang Do. At age 8 Master Yum earned his first belt in Hwa Rang Do.
