The West Volusia Academy of Mixed Martial Arts is a professional Martial Arts Training Center. Our training program is comprehensive, and is directed at preparing the student to become a complete Martial Artist. We focus on the techniques of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Wrestling and Boxing to provide the student with a complete set of skills necessary to properly defend themselves in a real world situations. The WVMMA program is also designed to prepare the student for competition in Mixed Martial Arts, Grappling, or Kickboxing.

With the focus of our program being on each student’s individual progress, our staff consistently works diligently to ensure all of our members reach their training goals, whether they are competition, self defense or fitness and weight loss. With our versatile program, the student can be assured of becoming a complete martial artists. We provide all of our students with necessary knowledge of the three main areas of personal combat- standing, clinching and ground fighting. This allows the student to be confident in their abilities regardless of the circumstance of which a self defense situation arises. Confidence is a huge factor when it comes to adequately deal with unexpected aggression!
