Soaring Crane Studio was founded in 2000 by Sensei Christoper A. Brown and has continued to provide quality martial arts instruction for over 10 years.

Sensei Christopher A. Brown has trained under Master Steven DeMasco, one of the principle agents for the United Studios of Self Defense. Sensei Brown has also studied under Master Brian Hanson and has acheived the rank of 4th Dan (Yondan).

In late 2011, the studio was passed from teacher to student when it was acquired by John Lee, student-turned-sensei. Sensei Lee achieved the rank of 1st Dan (Shodan) in December of 2011, and will continue his own black belt journey as he passes knowledge gained onto others that may follow the same path.
