Shotokan Karate of Vail
We practice the traditional martial art of Shotokan Karate, as developed
in modern times by Master Gichin Funakoshi, and passed to his students Master Nakayama, Master Okazaki (Founder, Chairman and Chief Instructor of the International Shotokan Karate Federation) and Master Yaguchi (Vice Chairman, Vice Chief Instructor, and Chairman of the Technical Committee of the ISKF). Sensei Pam Johns, currently one of Master Yaguchi's students, is our chief instructor.
