All students, regardless of age or rank, are expected to follow proper studio etiquette:
Arrive on time and be ready (uniform on and belt tied) for class
Uniforms must be clean and neat (wash your uniform after each class)
Practice good personal hygiene
No jewelry is allowed (other than a plain wedding band) during class
Bow whenever you:
Enter the studio (facing inside)
Step onto the mat (facing center of mat)
Step off of the mat (facing center of mat)
Approach an instructor
Greet another student
Always present yourself in the most respectful manner whether in or outside of the studio
A Competition School:
We encourage and facilitate tournaments on a national, state and local level. All students are members of the AAU and are able to attend tournaments throughout the year.
