One of Southern California's Premium Karate Dojo's, Nishimura Sensei offers instruction and training in Traditional Japanese Wado-Ryu Karate-do.

USA Wado-Ryu Karate-do Renmei has three easy to reach locations in Orange County, California. The main Dojo or Instruction center is in Laguna Niguel with other classes located in Huntigton Beach and Torrence.

Taught all over the world, Wado-Ryu is a style of karate-do with roots derived from the blend of traditional Japanese Karate and Jui-jitsu. Wado-Ryu Karate was one of the four original styles of Karate and was founded in 1938 as "Shinshu Wado-ryu Karate-Jujutsu," a name that invokes its unique style.

One of the primary differences of Wado-Ryu compared to other traditional Karate-Do styles is its use of evasion techniques which consist of maneuvers to avoid being hit if possible, but still maintaining balance and the ability to strike back efficiently. The connection between this method and the principal of avoidingconflict is obviously apparent.

Wado-Ryu is one of the most dynamic and diverse styles of karate practiced today.
