Family Martial Arts Center is dedicated to teaching practical martial arts to people of all ages. We offer programs to adults and children as young as 5 years old. We keep a family oriented atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. Whether it is to learn self defense, lose weight, or have a fun activity for the whole family, we have you covered!

Our school is ran by Head Master and Martial Arts Hall of Fame Inductee Jim Bacon, his wife Lori, and his son Jimmy. We have been open for over 6 years and are the 2013 winners for the best martial arts school in Hampton Roads by Virginia Pilot's Best of the Best contest.

We like to think of ourselves as much more than a martial arts school. We offer a healthy activity which the whole family can partake in for a lifetime of great memories. We aid and prepare young scholars for the future by giving them qualities such as Integrity, Honor, Leadership, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, and Personal Courage.
