Sawyer Youth Soccer Association (SYSA) is a recreational soccer club for age groups Under 6 through Under 14. SYSA is committed to providing a quality soccer experience for the area's youth. Every child is guaranteed to play at least a half game.Our teams are formed in accordance with the guidelines set forth by KYSA and USYSA, which is by blind draw, balancing junior and senior, experienced and inexperienced players so that all players will develop the skills and enthusiasm, and a spirit of fair play and competition. These goals are principally accomplished through an organization of volunteers. We practice and play home games at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park, however, we are not a park program. Under a lease agreement, we lease the playing fields and are responsible for all maintenance and field equipment. This is what the largest portion of your soccer fee goes to support.
