Founded in 1989, the Legends Soccer Club organization started in Kansas City and now has sister clubs throughout the nation. The hallmark of all Legends teams is superb individual skill, notably deceptive dribbling and goal scoring. In our club, we focus highly on individual training before we ever move on to the team aspect of the game. We want all of our players to be extremely skilled individually in order to later build a great team full of skillful players. We ask the kids to try things with the ball (With NO FEAR of FAILURE) that most clubs would not do because we are OVERLY concerned with skill development rather than the WIN NOW approach. You will hear much more of “USE YOUR MOVES” from our coaches rather than “PASS IT”. This is simply because passing is a natural thing for those who are good dribblers and shooters.
