The Moorestown Soccer Club shall be a nonprofit corporation qualifying under Title 15A of the New Jersey Statutes Annotated and registered with the US government as a charitable organization (501C3), the purpose of which organization shall be to promote and encourage the sport of soccer for the benefit of the youth of Moorestown Township, Burlington County, New Jersey and any youth enrolled in the Moorestown Township School District or as otherwise provided in these bylaws; to provide such youth with an opportunity to learn about, and participate in, the sport of soccer; and to provide a competitive soccer travel program designed to teach such youth the spirit of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, and competition so that they may be stronger and better rounded individuals. The MSC shall endeavor to provide all travel team ability level players with an opportunity to learn the game of soccer, develop skills and an understanding of the games rules and strategies and to promote the spirit of fair play, sportsmanship and discipline. In accomplishing the above the MSC hopes to support and strengthen the Moorestown soccer programs.
