Hanson Youth Soccer (HYS) Mission Statement: Hanson Youth Soccer is dedicated to the development of our community's youth through participation in a soccer program that is fun, challenging, and rewarding for all. HYS will strive to: Teach players sound soccer skills, tactics, and the rules of the game while promoting a lifelong love for soccer; Develop players at all levels of play by building and improving their skills, confidence, fitness, initiative, and a sense of teamwork; Encourage continuous learning and provide training opportunities to our volunteer coaches; Promote high standards of sportsmanship and respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and referees; Provide players with a level of play that offers them a challenge on par with their abilities; Help players achieve their personal goals and reach their full potential.
