FC DRIVE was founded as an Illinois not-for-profit organization to teach a higher level of play and to inspire competitive excellence in youth soccer players ages 5 - 18 years. The club's first season was September, 2007, led by Frank Klopas, current Chicago Fire Head Coach. In July, 2011, Pascal Bedrossian, former Chicago Fire and French Professional, was named Director of Player Development. FC DRIVE is the largest competitive youth travel soccer club in Chicago and the most culturally and ethnically diverse. For the 2012-13 seasons, there are 365+ players on 34 teams and a development Academy served by 15 coaching professionals distinguished by success at the highest levels of the sport with extensive experience in youth coaching, a professional speed/agility/conditioning trainer, a professional goal keeper trainer, and 25 volunteers.
