The Clifton Stallions Soccer Club was formed over 30 years ago with the express objective of providing all children in the Clifton community the opportunity to play soccer and develop their soccer skills in a positive, healthy environment. We provide recreational soccer programs for young people ages 5 years old and up. We stress our players' fun and enjoyment of the sport of soccer, encouraging them to develop their skills as soccer players in a manner that is supportive and creative, without undo pressure to win or achieve. Our travel program provides more advanced players ages 8 and up the chance to compete against teams from many areas in New Jersey; many of our travel players have progressed on to high school, college and the professional ranks. The Clifton Stallions S.C. is organized as a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation, which consists of two programs: Recreation and Travel. It is the Recreation with which we are associated and which conducts the Saturday program. Games in the Travel program are played mostly on Sundays, but can be played on Saturdays or during the week due to make-ups or State Cup competitions.
