The Addison United Soccer Club (AUSC) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation devoted to providing area youth with a competitive soccer environment. AUSC is a competitive travel team experience for U8-U16 boys and girls. Selection for Club teams will be based upon open tryouts held in June each year. These teams will require a higher commitment level than the park district recreation league teams. Travel will be required for away games and tournaments. The goal is to promote soccer as a sport to young athletes, and soccer as a culture to the community. Drawing upon the diverse make up of our community, we plan to draw upon the best of all these communities in regards to the cultural traditions (songs, celebrations, styles of play) to create a unique Addison soccer experience. Winning will be strived for, but developing a love for the game is the primary goal. Playing attractive, joyful soccer wil be emphasized over playing to win. Daring to try something extraordinary should never be stifled in pursuit of a safe victory.
