Higher Power Martial Arts opened in early 2009 at Christ the King Church in West Warwick. Our program is run by Walter Ortiz, 4th Degree Black Belt in the art of Tae Kwon Do. Master Ortiz began this program in 2008, teaching class in the living room of his West Warwick home. Our class has grown to include several dozen students from West Warwick and neighboring towns. We are a fully insured program, and a publice charity.

While Higher Power Martial Arts welcomes students of all faiths, we are a non-denominational Christian-based program. We teach an integrated curriculum which includes traditional Tae Kwon Do technique combined with teachings from the Bible.
