The owner told them/us that &ldquo;they didn&rsquo;t want it enough&rdquo;. Didn&rsquo;t realize the &ldquo;try out&rdquo; was for the instructor. They don't tell you that upfront, and the rejected kids end up getting humiliated. The accepted kids/families never find out because it is done in a private session, and others are scared to speak out. Goes to show that you can win a bunch of trophies and still be a looser. Don't put your limitations as a teacher on the student. The student didn't give up, you gave up on them after 45 min.
