The origin and history of PokDok Suri Martial Arts is a story of one man's journey through the martial arts which was guided by
many great Masters and Grandmasters. This journey started in 1990 and lead to many foreign countries and remote locations worldwide. After many years studying many styles and systems of the Martial Arts, PokDok Suri was born. Many people, places and things influenced the creation of this training system called PokDok Suri.

PokDok Suri is not an original martial arts; it is simply an original arrangement, approach, or method to teaching the Martial Arts and the warrior way of life. PokDok Suri Martial Arts is a mixture system of both traditional and contemporary styles. It focuses primarily on self protection. PokDok Suri teaches an approach of "natural responses" to the inital attack followed by a counterattack with a "one-step" resolution. PokDok Suri is a combination of ChungDoKwan TaeKwonDo, Muay Thai Kickboxing, LAMECO Eskrima, American Karate, Krav Maga, Submission Wrestling and Police Defensive Tactics. PokDok Suri is an intergradedsystem of martial arts. On July 1, 2000, PokDok Suri Martial Arts was established in Moore, Oklahoma by Master Matthew Antkowiak.
