In May of 2012, we became a division of Karate for Christ of Michigan, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are proud of this affiliation since it affords us the opportunity to work with quality teachers in our style and reach out to the community at large in ways we could not have before.

Since 2001, High Reaches Karate & Fitness has been providing quality, affordable Martial Arts instruction in the Ashland, OH area.

We teach children and adults, ages 3 and up
We specialize in children and women's assault prevention
All races and religious backgrounds are welcome here
We practice a comprehensive style of mixed martial arts called Shinsei Hapkido. Evade, Invade and Control is our philosophy. We believe in evading an attack, invading defenses, and controlling attackers through submissions and joint locks whenever possible, precluding the need to kill.
