Ohio BudÅkan is a non profit 501 (c)3 educational institution. Ohio BudÅkan was founded in 1983 by Kancho
(school superintendent) James I. Rodriguez. Ohio BudÅkan offers three areas of martial arts instruction:
Yamate RyÅ« Aikijutsu, Tenshin RyÅ« Kenjutsu, and Genwakai Karate-dÅ. We also offer instruction in other
Japanese cultural arts including: ShodÅ (calligraphy), SadÅ (tea ceremony), and NihongÅ (Japanese language).
We are located in the heart of the Historic Oregon District in downtown Dayton.
