Why Rising Sun Karate Academy?
Rising Sun Karate Academy is family owned and operated. When you enroll at RSKA, you become more than just another "gym member," you become part of our family. We have had students begin studying Martial Arts with us when they were just beginning elementary school. Through the years, we helped them develop into successful young adults, leaders in the community and beyond. We often have students who have gone off to college come back and train with us during their school breaks. We love that we are a part of their lives even when they have "left the nest."

Our instructors are the best! Master Randy Word was awarded Instructor of the Year by Educational Funding Company. All of our classes are taught by Black Belt certified instructors only! Our instructors are passionate about teaching the Martial Arts. They follow the progress of each student and are always willing to go the extra mile to help our students achieve success. Our instructors make classes high energy and fun!

Our blended system of Martial Arts, called Toso Kune Do, was developed by Kyoshi Jason David Frank and is exclusive to Rising Sun Karate Academy. It is a practical self-defense system ensuring a well-rounded Martial Artist.
