Master Kresimir is the owner here at Team Kralj Mixed Martial Arts, located in Douglaston, NY and is a 4th Degree Master. Kresimir says that it wasn’t the New York state tournaments that he won or any of the local tournaments that he placed in, not even having the chance of traveling the United States and competing in nationals, but that it was the car accident back in June 2009 that influenced Kresimir to be where he is today.

After his accident, Kresimir had surgery on his left knee and on his lower back and was left with 5 herniated disks. Doctors told Kresimir that his body had aged 30 years ahead. He knew what had to be done. Kresimir had been involved in martial arts his whole life and knew that he could heal himself and in which he did. He stopped and looked at what he had in his future in terms of psychical fitness. Kresimir wanted to help not only kids that needed to do something positive but also the adults who could not be so active cause they were overweight or had some minor injuries to their bodies. Physical fitness was the key to bring him back to where he is now and in most cases is the key for most people.
