Sierra Dojo Martial Arts is a place for learning and honing martial arts skills. We are dedicated to sharing the knowledge and common sense that our teachers shared with us.

We teach two separate traditional martial arts, Isshin-Ryu Karate (from Okinawa) and Kosho-Ryu Kempo Jujitsu (from Japan), and the Filipino art of Presas Arnis. Since our inception in 1999, our goal has been to provide a place to expand and develop our own skills and give others the opportunity to do so, too.

Put down the iPod, cell phone, and turn off the TV. Spend quality time in an honorable pursuit that builds self-confidence, keeps you in shape, and gives you a fighting chance in your everyday life.

Our seasoned instructors work personally with each student at every class, and through this method a student gains insight into what works and what doesn’t. We believe in leading by example, and strive to be role models of integrity, honor and discipline.
