We teach an authentic and traditional martial art called Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu aka Ninjutsu, the same way as taught by our Grand master Masaaki Hatsumi (soke) of Noda, Japan. What the Bujinkan teaches is called Budo Taijutsu. Budo Taijutsu is a traditional Japanese martial art that teaches how to use distancing, angling and timing (DAT) to defend yourself and your loved ones.

This martial art consists of striking, grappling, multiple attackers, weapons training and rolling. This is NOT a sport and there are no competitions for Bujinkan members. We train in a safe environment but with an emphasis on proven realistic training methods. Budo Taijutsu is as much a mental workout as it is a physical workout.

BBD is not motivated by self gain, but rather the gain and growth of others. In the true spirit of the warrior and the service to our community, BBD encourages everyone to find what is best for them. BBD leads by the example in martial arts, not only in the quality of training, but also in its practices.

In order to stay current with the training our school travels to Japan at least once a year and attends many "Back from Japan seminars" that are held throughout the tri-state area. Our dojo is committed to teach the same way that our Soke and his shihans teaches. The BBD sells ninja weapons, training weapons, uniforms and belts. Rank certificates come from Japan and are to be purchased by the student and it’s at their discretion.
