Detail: The Kamikokoro Dojo was created by a core group of Martial Artists who have trained together for several years in the Japanese art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu (AKA – Ninjutsu or Ninpo Taijutsu) as taught by Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. Our main focus is simply to teach good people how to protect themselves and their loved ones from physical and/or mental violence. It is our belief that every individual who is empowered with the knowledge, ability and courage to protect themselves, and others, from the negative forces in our world is a tremendous asset to their community and society in general. If it is true that people tend to hate that which they fear – then by reducing an individual's fear we can also reduce hate and violence in our society with every new Martial Artist we help create. Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu is a complete combat based art which empowers our students with a wide range of skill sets. Our training begins with basic ideas of self defense and then continually expands and challenges the student with new concepts of movement and strategy. Our training center provides the local community with a unique option for martial arts training outside of the standard Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing or MMA centers located on nearly every street corner in the metro area.
